Mac Sign Company Announces Retirement of Founder After 53 Years
10.22.2009 For Immediate Release Fayetteville, NC - Mac Sign Company of Fayetteville, North Carolina recently announced the happy retirement of its’ founder, Robert McGinnis, after 53 years on the job.
During his time as President, McGinnis saw Mac Sign Company go from a start-up business in a small barn in the late 1950’s to a state-of-the-art sign manufacturing facility in the 21st century. In the beginning, Mac Sign Company specialized in building, designing and installing simple truck lettering and local commercial signs. Over the years the team, under the dedicated leadership of McGinnis, has become the largest, most efficient sign manufacturing facility in the state.
In 2005, McGinnis stepped down as company president, but remained an active member of the Mac Sign Company family as a regional sales consultant in the Fayetteville area and as an advisor to current company President Kevin Agostinho and Vice-President Larry Fatone.
